Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) sets out what you may and may not do with TWD Platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to you and to everyone who uses the platform under your workspace. We may update it to keep the service safe, lawful and reliable.

1. General principles

You must use the platform lawfully, honestly, and in a way that does not harm us, other customers, or the public. You are responsible for everything done under your workspace.

2. Prohibited content and activities

You must not use the platform to store, send, publish or process anything that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or that incites or facilitates a crime;
  • infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
  • contains or distributes malware, or is designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to any system or data;
  • harasses, threatens, or promotes violence or discrimination against any person or group;
  • exploits or endangers minors, or depicts child sexual abuse material;
  • contains another person’s personal data that you have no lawful basis or right to process.

3. Security and integrity

You must not:

  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the platform, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, except under an authorised testing agreement with us;
  • access data, accounts or workspaces that are not yours, or attempt to defeat the entitlement controls that gate modules and workspaces;
  • interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the service, including through automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, or excessive API use beyond published limits;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the platform except to the extent the law allows.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to abuse@thiswebdesign.co.uk and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it.

4. Email, SMS and other messaging

The platform can send email and SMS on your behalf. When you use these features you must:

  • only message people who have given you a lawful basis to contact them, and honour the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR;
  • not send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive “phishing” content;
  • include accurate sender information and a working unsubscribe or opt-out method;
  • promptly action opt-outs and keep your contact lists clean to protect deliverability.

We monitor sending reputation and may rate-limit, gate or suspend sending that risks the deliverability or reputation of the platform or other customers.

5. Sanctions and export control

You must not use the platform in breach of sanctions or export-control law, or for the benefit of any sanctioned person or comprehensively sanctioned territory. See section 16 of the Terms of Service for detail.

6. Consequences of breach

If you breach this Policy we may remove offending content, rate-limit or suspend the relevant feature or your account, or terminate your access, depending on the seriousness of the breach. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first; where the law requires it, or where there is a serious or ongoing risk, we may act immediately. We may also report unlawful activity to the authorities.
