Cookie Policy
ThisWebDesign Ltd · Effective 28 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ThisWebDesign Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on TWD Platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We use only a small number of first-party cookies that are needed to run the platform and remember your settings. We do not use analytics, advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies.
The cookies we use
We use two categories of cookie:
- Strictly necessary: required to sign you in and keep the service secure and working. These cannot be switched off, and under PECR do not require consent.
- Functional: remember choices you make, such as your display language, to improve your experience.
| Cookie | Purpose | Category | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
twd_id | Holds your signed-in identity token so the app knows who you are. | Strictly necessary | Session (access-token lifetime) |
twd_access | Authorises your requests to the platform API while you are signed in. | Strictly necessary | Session (access-token lifetime) |
twd_refresh | Lets the app renew your session without asking you to sign in again. | Strictly necessary | 30 days |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers your chosen display language. | Functional | 1 year |
Consent and managing your choices
Because we set only strictly necessary and functional cookies, and no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, we do not need to ask for consent to a tracking banner. You remain in control: you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the platform.
Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce a new category of cookie, for example analytics, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting it.
